We recently made a trip to St.Louis, Mo. For the Golden Retriever Specialty, My 1st time since 1980,that year the Specialty was in Chicago......
We took 3 males & we originally were taking 5 dogs but Both of the Females we had entered Came in "season"..... parts about that were good & Not good because both those females were WAY overdue to cycle .....

THISTLE ROCKS RED IKE MH***WCX sired by Cokie & out of my Leelo d.o.b. 7/5/09 was entered in the Amateur & the Open
THISTLE ROCKS NEW KID ON THE BLOCK (full brother to IKE d.o.b. 10/31/'12) & THISTLE ROCKS GET A GRIP (d.o.b. 3/6/'12) also sired by Cokie & out of AZABACHE'S OREGON GOLDUST SH owned by Jean & Jose Rodriguez. The 2 young puppies were entered in the Puppy Stake. We hauled 3 dogs & came home with 3 placements.... :) :)
IKE received a J.A.M. (Judges Award of Merit) in the Open stake
NEWT received 3rd place in the puppy stake ........
GRIP received a J.A.M. also in the puppy stake.......
Also Wayne Andersons dogs GREENFIELDS GOLDBRIAR PISTOLE*** & GREENFIELDS MOHAWK did very well......Pistol Jammed the open also & HAWK Jammed the Qualifying.
We have bred Pistol to our Zoey for October puppies... :) :) AND we have Bred My Maurene to our IKE.....for November Puppies :) :)

This is Lady Saffron of Thistle Rock owned by the Jacobson family/Minnetonka

Saffron was the star of her hunting school class. She is a marvelous dog.
